Spring is finally here!

Oxford's quad is blooming as spring has finally arrived. The campus is quiet as our students are on Spring Break! A large group of students are traveling with Volunteer Oxford to Savannah Georgia for Oxford's annual Alternative Spring Break trip, and Dr. McQuaide's Sociology in Developing Society course left for Ecuador for this eye-opening study abroad interim course. Last week Oxford's Chinese Student Association held the first annual Chinese Celebration Week to celebrate the Chinese New Year and educate the student body about Chinese Culture. Students wore their traditional Asian costumes, ate Chinese food served in Lil's, produced a Chinese New Year Gala, and had the traditional lion dance in the middle of Lil's! Scholars Finalists, thank you all so much for a wonderful weekend- I hope you were able to gain an insight into all the great opportunities we offer at Oxford and the great community we have here. Your official letters will be mailed out soon.
