My Spring

As I sat down to write, I realized how close my time at Oxford is drawing to a close! I am getting ready to register for classes at the Atlanta campus and already have my housing assignment. This home stretch is bittersweet. I am excited to declare my major and dig into deeper, more exciting courses. I look forward to new adventures on a new campus in the big city. However, I will dearly miss the people and place that is Oxford College, so I am making the most of my Oxford memories and having tons of fun this last semester! Over my spring break, I had an amazing experience on the Oxford College Alternative Spring Break trip. A group of 39 students and 3 staff members traveled to South Georgia to build a Habitat House and volunteer in Camden County, GA. It was an amazing bonding experience as well as a great week of service. We visited Savannah and spent some time downtown on River Street. We played games and went hiking. We went to the beach on Tybee Island, watching the sunset, gazing at stars, and then watching the sunrise. It was a happy, fun, relaxing, absolutely amazing week - probably my favorite week of the school year!
